Shaftesbury Youth Club has football in its blood and has first class football facilities that can accommodate matches at any non-league level. The Club currently runs 13 Football teams ranging from Under 7s to Adult teams and has played a prominent part of the local football culture for decades. All training is on the large Astro pitch and is run by fully qualified coaches and FA accredited personnel.
The club has two Astro pitches, two full size pitches and a smaller grass pitch all available for general use by Youth Club members or Private Hire by other teams. For more information about joining a team or hiring pitches contact Barry on 0151 608 7165.

Two full-sized grass pitches and a smaller mini grass pitch are fully maintained by our experienced grounds staff and are regularly used to host local non-league matches and other events such as football training courses and informal bouts.
The two floodlit all-weather 3G Astro Turf pitches are popular with local teams for competitive matches or leisure purposes. The pitches can be hired by the hour by contacting the Club.

FA Respect Guide for Club Football
The Football Association of England has produced a set of guidelines for club football called Respect. The initiative is a group of rules and guidelines for players, organisers and clubs to ensure fair play, team morale and good conduct among people involved in club football.
The guidelines can be summarised as follows:
- Referee is in charge
- Encourage team-mates
- Shout, but don't criticise
- Play fairly
- Enjoy the game
- Captain only speaks to the referee
- Try, whatever the score

Monday Night Football with Everton FC Coaches
Every Monday from 7.00pm - 9.00pm Shaftes holds it's weekly 7 A side football tournament organised by Everton community coaches. No pre-booking required just turn up with your friends and join in.
Football Timetables
Shaftes duo of excellent floodlit Astro football pitches are available for hire by the hour for use by teams and for informal matches. The larger pitch is suitable for seven-a-side games whilst the smaller is for five-a-side bouts.
